Review: Never Seduce a Scot by Maya Banks

Title: Never Seduce a Scot

Author: Maya Banks

Series: The first book in the Montgomerys and Armstrongs Series

Release Date: 9/25/12

Genre: Historical Romance

ARC Provided by Edelweiss

Rating: 5 Bookmarks

Review: This has been the easiest five stars that I have given a book this year. Maya banks has once again delivered a beautiful, flawless romance in her first book in the Montgomerys and Armtrongs series, Never Seduce a Scot. The story follows Eveline Armstrong, who is still struggling to overcome the effects of a horse riding accident when it is dictated by the king that she is to wed Graeme Montgomery, a member of the Armstrongs' most hated enemy, as an effort to bring about peace between the warring clans. Even though their clans despise each other, the attraction between the two characters is instantaneous and their love begins to grow and blossom. It isn't long before turmoil between the clans threatens their relationship and they struggle to overcome it. Banks has created a touching story of love that readers will be completely engrossed in to the very end. It was fascinating to see the characters evolve and to see them change throughout the book. Eveline and Graeme's story will stick in readers minds long after turning the last page. This author always creates wonderful stories with complex characters and with Never Seduce a Scot, she doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend this book, it will quickly become one of readers all-time favorites.
